Katarzyna Bryla made her debut as a soloist with the Zielona Gora Philharmonic at the age of 14. She has been prized with a remarkable amount of awards, both nationally and internationally, including 1st prize at the International XX Century Music Competition in Krakow, 1st prize at the 6th International Chamber Music Competition in Przemysl, 1st prize at the Wielkpolski Violin Competition in Poznan, and 2nd prize for Bach’s interpretation at the National J.S. Bach Competition in Zielona Gora. She has also been selected as jury member at the J.S. Bach National Competition in Zielona Gora and the I Pulawski Guitar Festival in Pulawy.
She has studied with renowned violinists Christian Tetzlaff, Herbert Greenberg, Bartosz Bryla and Jadwiga Kaliszewska. She has also taken masterclasses at the Kronberg Academy, Peabody Conservatory, and the New York String Orchestra Seminar to name a few.
She has been frequently selected to perform as a guest artist in top music festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, Cactus Pear Music Festival, Las Palmas Music Festival in Spain, Darlowo International Music Festival and the Singapore Sun Music Festival.
As an orchestral musician, she regularly performs with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. In addition to this, she is a member of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra.
In 2011 she graduated from the Peabody Conservatory of Music of the Johns Hopkins University with an Artist Diploma.
